30mins driving time from State Highway 1.

Directions

• From Taihape turn left into Toetoe Rd (8km south of Taihape)
• From Mangaweka turn right into Ruahine Rd (just after you leave the 70km speed zone)
• Both these turns have large signs with ‘Kawhatau Outdoor Education Centre’ written on them.
