Meersbrooke Farm breeds 1/8th
Clyde x horses, and medium/large stationbred type ponies. We place an emphasis on well made,
forward going horses & ponies with good movement & jumping ability. Our
horses/ponies are good natured, but bred to be competitive. We don’t bred
beginners ponies or hacks. We currently run a broodmare band of 8, but they are
only foaled every second season, giving us 4 foals a year. All young stock are free jumped to assess their ability. They spend most of
their early years running free in the hill country, coming in for regular
drenching and other routine care. Meersbrooke Farm
currently has 3 stallions, with another exciting young sire this spring. The 3 older Meersbrooke
stallions have all competed successfully with our children. Ambassador
& Sparhawk have also attended PC, hunted,
trekked & hacked. We plan to do the same with our newest addition M.
Bourbon On Ice. Most of our broodmares have been
successful competition horses/ponies, and/or carry proven performance
bloodlines.

M. Ambassador. Ice is a full brother to 2 other stallions. Upcoming SH/SJ &
eventer M. Sparkling Ripples & Larkspur Ripples
(formerly M. Blue Ripples). Larkspur Ripples has progeny successfully eventing
in the USA

Meersbrooke Sparhawk, stationbred pony 147.5cm (LC). Sparhawk has a few progeny out and about now. His foals are
terrific movers with a big jump, and very competitive attitude. They’re
great all round types, and are competing successfully in SJ/SH/dressage/
eventing & attend PC, just as Sparhawk did
himself, with our 3 children. Older competing progeny include M. Kittyhawk, M. Skyhawk, M.
Southern Man (hack), M. Tequila. Others to look out for in the future are M.
Spot On, M. Baby Spice, M. Waterford, M. Smooth Dude, M. Port Wine (hack), M.
Cool Runnins (hack), M. Miss Attitude, M. Milano, M. Major Ripples (hack), M. Tigermoth,
M. Mr.Spice

Meersbrooke Bourbon on Ice. Skewbald, EMH
148cm, foaled 2006. Sire: M. Iced Ripples. Dam: Bethan
GP SJ pony. Bourbon is a very exciting pony stallion, with a superb pedigree,
tons of talent & a fantastic temperament. We plan to use him over a small
group of mares for the first time this season, along with taking him out under
saddle. Look out for him in the training SH ring this summer.
Introductory Stud Fee $500 + GST LFG
(available to 4 outside mares only this season)
