Gallery – Meet the Horses!

Here are our current trekking team. Most of them have previously enjoyed, or still enjoy, very successful competitive careers under saddle or in harness. Look out for new additions to the team. 

 

Main Guiding horses

  • Tegan – 14.2hh stationbred/arab/ponyx. Competing eventing, SH & SJ.
  • Charlotte – 15.1hh ¼ Clyde ¾ TB mare.  Competing showhunter and dressage. 8th Junior SH of Year 2008.
  • Tippy – 14.1hh Conemara/English Riding ponyx. Former top showhunter & showjumping pony.

  • Tilly – 16.1hh Clydesdale mare. Goes in harness, packs and great under saddle.
  • Cascade – 16hh Clydesdale gelding. Goes in harness, packs & super safe ride.
  • Meg – 16hh TB mare. Sweet natured, free going, very safe and kind.
  • Maiden – 14hh Appaloosa/TBx pony mare. Been there, done that! Great all rounder.
  • Caramello – 14.2hh Stationbred/Anglo arabx mare. Super all rounder. 
  • Flame – 15.1hh Stationbred mare. Very kind & patient. Loves beginners.
  • Squirt – 13.1hh Stationbred pony mare. Kind reliable ride. Loves children.
  • Quin – 14.2hh ¼ Clyde ¾ TB mare. Ex showjumper, eventer. Champion shepherds hack.
  • Cleo – 14hh Stationbred pony mare. Delightful ride, great with beginners & children.
  • Owee – 15hh Standardbred gelding. Former station hack. Very sure footed and free going.
  • Penny – 15.3hh Stationbred mare. Nice mare, well schooled, obedient ride.
  • Darkie – 16.1hh Standardbred gelding. Very good natured, excellent pack & riding horse.
  • Macca – 15hh Standardbred gelding. Very sweet nature, free going.  
  • Shirl – 16.1 Standardbred, packhorse.
